  • Trax Plus Intercom: This unit features a user-friendly interface that automatically lowers music volume when you speak, ensuring your voice is heard without shouting. Once your conversation ends, the music volume resumes, keeping your ride enjoyable.
  • Bluetooth Connectivity: The integrated Bluetooth system provides full control over your audio experience. With a central knob, you can play, pause, skip tracks, and manage phone calls effortlessly.
  • Digital Signal Processing (DSP): The DSP feature actively filters out background noise, allowing for crystal-clear communication. Engage this feature with a single touch when you need to focus on conversations, and easily switch it off to enjoy the sounds of your high-performance engine.
  • Push to Talk (PTT): Communicate with other vehicles in your group using the included PTT button. This system automatically adjusts music volume to ensure you never miss important radio transmissions.

  • Elite 4 conductor headsets and helmets are incompatible with the 5 conductor Trax Stereo Cables. An adapter is available, but note that your mono headset or helmet will remain mono with this setup.

Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?

PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.

Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
