If you're in the market for a solid helmet that doesn’t skimp on comfort or functionality, check out the Pyrotect Carbon Fiber Sportmax DOT Helmet. This helmet's got a mid-air design that gives you extra clearance inside the car, which is a nice touch when you're hustling through tight corners or just cruising around. Plus, you can get it wired up with PCI's Exclusive Communication components, making it a breeze to stay in touch with your crew while you’re out tearing up the trails.
Now, let’s talk fit. This is super important because a helmet that’s too loose can really mess you up in an accident. So, make sure you measure your head about an inch above your eyebrows, wrapping around to the back where you get the biggest measurement. And don’t forget, these helmets will break in a bit over time. Aim for a snug fit that you can tolerate for a while—better safe than sorry!
Notes:
All in all, the 1385 PCI Race Radios Pyrotect SportMax UTV Midair Carbon Fiber DOT Helmet is a solid choice if you want something that’s practical and built to last. Whether you’re hitting the dunes or just enjoying a weekend drive, this helmet has got your back.

PCI Race Radios is a family-owned company that is dedicated to taking the time to both “race and play.” The company tests its products on dirt bikes, motorcycles, quads, rock crawlers, race cars, Raptors, RZRs, Mavericks, and boats. Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.
Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
