When it comes to safety and comfort on the track or off-road, the Pyrotect Carbon Fiber Sportmax DOT Helmet stands out as a top choice for automotive enthusiasts. Designed with mid-air clearance, this helmet provides ample space for your head while ensuring a snug fit inside your vehicle. Whether you're navigating tight turns in your 2020 Ford Mustang or tackling rugged trails in your 2021 Jeep Wrangler, this helmet is tailored to keep you safe and comfortable.
Ensuring a proper fit is essential for any helmet, as it significantly impacts safety. To find your ideal size, measure your head about one inch above your eyebrows and around the widest part at the back. Remember, helmets tend to break in over time, so aim for a snug fit that you can comfortably wear.
Parents of youth racers have shared their experiences, noting that the Pyrotect Carbon Fiber Sportmax helmet fits perfectly for their kids. One parent stated, “I got this helmet for my son who races a 2022 Polaris RZR. The fit is excellent, and he can communicate easily with the built-in wiring system. Plus, it’s lightweight, so he doesn’t feel weighed down during races.”

Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.
Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
