For those hitting the trails or just cruising with friends, the Pyrotect Carbon Fiber Sportmax DOT Helmet is designed to enhance your driving experience while keeping safety a top priority. With its mid-air design, this helmet provides extra clearance, making it a comfortable fit in various vehicles, especially for off-road enthusiasts looking for that perfect balance between protection and performance.
This helmet is compatible with a wide range of vehicles, particularly those where headroom is a concern. Ensure you measure your head accurately—about one inch above the eyebrows and around the largest part at the back—to find the right fit. Remember, helmets tend to break in over time, so aim for a snug fit that you can tolerate comfortably.
One satisfied Jeep Wrangler owner shared, "I installed this helmet before a weekend off-roading trip, and it fit perfectly in my rig. The extra clearance made a noticeable difference, and the communication setup worked flawlessly!"
Another user with a 2021 Ford Bronco mentioned, "This helmet is a game changer for our family trips. The fit is snug, and my kids love how they can adjust it as they grow. Plus, the dust skirt really helps when we hit the trails!"
When it comes to personal safety gear, choosing the right helmet is crucial. The Pyrotect Carbon Fiber Sportmax DOT Helmet not only meets safety standards but also enhances your driving experience, making it a solid investment for any automotive enthusiast.

Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.
Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
