If you’re looking to keep cool during those long off-road adventures, the PCI RaceAir Boost is where it’s at. This little powerhouse is designed to pump out high-volume air without a fuss, and trust me, once you have it in your rig, you’ll wonder how you ever managed without it. The best part? It’s super easy to install, so you can get back to what really matters—hitting the trails.

One of the standout features is the variable speed controller. You can dial in just the right amount of airflow depending on what you need. Whether you’re cruising down a dusty road or parked under the blazing sun, you can adjust it on the fly. And if you want to kick back and relax, there's an optional remote control with a 10 ft. cable, which is a game changer when you’re in the thick of things.

Built tough, the RaceAir Boost features a lightweight yet durable billet housing that can take a beating. It’s equipped with a brushless DC motor, which means it’s not just efficient but also quiet—perfect for those moments when you want to enjoy the sounds of nature instead of a noisy fan.

Mounting is a breeze, too. It comes with roll bar mounts that fit a variety of sizes—1.5", 1.75", 1.85", or 2.5". Just rotate the bracket 90 degrees to switch between sizes. Plus, you can mount it in any direction you want; sideways, upside down—whatever works best for your setup.

It also includes a prefilter and filter, so you can keep the air clean while you’re out there tearing it up. Just a heads up, though: hoses are sold separately. If you’re planning to mount it in the middle of your vehicle, I’d recommend picking up a 4', 5', and two 6' hoses. For rear mounting, grab a 4', 5', 8', and 10' hoses to cover your bases.

And don’t worry about it giving you trouble down the line; it comes with a one-year warranty against manufacturer defects. Just keep in mind that the wiring harness and rocker switches are sold separately, so make sure you grab those if you need them.

Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?

PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.

Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
