PCI Race Radios 4508 Rocker Elite Intercom System Package

The PCI Race Radios 4508 Rocker Elite Intercom System Package is engineered for seamless communication and entertainment in off-road vehicles. This package includes the Kenwood NX-1700 Mobile Radio, providing a robust solution for maintaining clear communication with your passengers and other vehicles on the trail.

  • Effortless Communication: The Rocker Intercom allows for clear conversations between passengers without the need to raise your voice. The system automatically lowers music volume when you speak, ensuring you don’t miss important communication.
  • Kenwood NX-1700 Radio: This mobile radio features 50 watts of power at 13.8 volts and includes 260 channels. It is particularly effective in UTVs with dual stators, such as the Can-Am and RZR Turbo S, thanks to its exceptional RF noise filtering.
  • Low Power Draw: The Kenwood NX-1700 requires less power to transmit at full strength, making it ideal for vehicles with smaller batteries or extensive aftermarket accessories.
  • Bluetooth Connectivity: The intercom system comes standard with Bluetooth, allowing for music control, call management, and easy integration with your devices.
  • Quick Installation: The system installs easily into a standard rocker switch panel slot. The base unit can be discreetly mounted behind a dash, in a glove box, or under a seat.

Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?

PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.

Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
