Hey there, fellow off-roaders and weekend warriors! If you’re looking to amp up your ride’s communication and music game, let me tell you about the PCI Trax Intercom System. This isn't just any intercom; it’s a solid piece of gear that really brings your audio experience to life while keeping you connected with your buddies on the trail.
First off, the sound quality is top-notch. Thanks to the 5-pin cables, you get true left and right stereo sound. That means when you’re blasting your favorite tunes, it feels like you’re in a concert, not just cruising down the road. Plus, the PCI Smart Bluetooth tech is a game changer. You can stream music straight from your phone, and if you want to take it up a notch, there's an optional DSP upgrade for digital signal processing. Trust me, your ears will thank you.
Communication is key when you’re out there, and this system has your back. It comes with a two-way radio feature, so you can chat with your crew without any hassle. Installation is a breeze, too—just pop it into your rocker switch panel, and you’re good to go! You can tuck the base unit away behind your dash or even in the glovebox, keeping things tidy and out of sight.

PCI Race Radios is a family-owned company that is dedicated to taking the time to both “race and play.” The company tests its products on dirt bikes, motorcycles, quads, rock crawlers, race cars, Raptors, RZRs, Mavericks, and boats. It can, therefore, thoroughly understand consumers’ needs and offer hands-on recommendations from experience.
Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.
Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
