If you’re all about hitting the trails with your crew and want to keep the tunes pumping while you chat, the PCI Trax Intercom system is where it’s at. This isn't just any intercom; it’s designed for those who appreciate quality sound and reliable communication. With our unique 5-pin cables, you get true left and right stereo sound, so your music isn’t just background noise—it’s part of the adventure.
And let’s talk about the Bluetooth feature. It’s built right in, so you can easily connect your devices. If you’re looking to elevate your audio game even more, consider the DSP upgrade for some serious digital signal processing. It makes a noticeable difference, trust me.
This system isn’t just about music, though. The intercom allows you to keep the conversation flowing with your passengers, and if you need to check in with the rest of the group, you can easily add a two-way radio. It’s all about staying connected without losing that vibe you get from your favorite tracks.
Installation? A breeze. Just pop it into a standard rocker switch panel slot, and you’re good to go. You can tuck the base unit away behind the dash, in the glovebox, or even under a seat—out of sight but never out of mind. The central Bluetooth knob makes it super easy to control your music, pause it, play it, or even take calls without fumbling around.

The brand has a full-service technical repair shop at its headquarters in Long Beach, California, and provides trackside, mobile services to its desert enthusiasts at off-road races. PCI Race Radios supports the ASA, CORVA, ORBA, and the San Diego Off-Road Coalition. It also sponsors District 37, SCORE, SNORE, MDR, MORE, CORR, BITD, and provides desert racers with the Weatherman Relay Service.
PCI Race Radios is a family-owned company that is dedicated to taking the time to both “race and play.” The company tests its products on dirt bikes, motorcycles, quads, rock crawlers, race cars, Raptors, RZRs, Mavericks, and boats. It can, therefore, thoroughly understand consumers’ needs and offer hands-on recommendations from experience.
Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.
Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
