PCI Race Radios 4 Seats Rocker Trax Stereo Intercom System Package with ICOM F5021 Radio

Hey there! If you’re looking to amp up your ride with some solid communication gear, you’ve come to the right place. The PCI Race Radios Rocker Trax Stereo Intercom System is a game changer for anyone who spends time off-road or just wants to chat with their buddies while blasting tunes.

This intercom lets you talk to your passengers without having to yell over the music. Seriously, just start chatting, and it’ll automatically lower the music volume so you can hear each other clearly. And when you’re done, the music ramps back up. No awkward silences here!

Now, let’s dive into what makes this setup so great. It comes with a basic U-shaped mounting bracket for easy installation. If you’re serious about your communication, I’d highly recommend pairing it with the Kenwood NX-1700 Mobile Radio. This radio is a beast when it comes to filtering out RF noise, which is especially useful for UTVs like the CanAm and RZR Turbo S that have dual stators. Plus, it’s power-efficient, so if you’ve got a smaller battery or a bunch of aftermarket accessories, you won’t have to worry about draining your juice.

Here’s a quick rundown of the features:

  • Chat with your passengers while enjoying your favorite tracks.
  • Stay connected with your crew using the two-way radio feature.
  • Installation is a breeze—just pop it into a standard rocker switch panel slot!
  • Hide the base unit behind your dash, in the glovebox, or under the seat.
  • Bluetooth is standard, so you can control your music and take calls with ease.
  • Need to talk to other vehicles? Just hit the included PTT (Push to Talk) button.
  • Your tunes won’t drown out important radio chatter; it auto-adjusts the volume when receiving.
  • Rocker Intercom draws 2.6A (recommend a 5amp fuse).
  • Includes a 3 ft. USB-C lead.
  • Icom F5021 Radio: 50w @ 13.8v and 128 channels, with a 14A draw while transmitting (15amp fuse recommended).
  • 5-year warranty on the intercom, and 2 years on radios and cables.

What’s in the box? You’ll get:

  • Trax Stereo PCI Rocker Intercom
  • Kenwood NX-1700 Mobile Radio
  • (2) 12ft Elite Intercom Cables
  • Panel Mount PTT, female
  • Velcro Mount PTT, female
  • Phone Audio Input Cable (on Standard and DSP units)
  • 17ft Hole Mount Coax
  • Stealth No Ground Plane Antenna

Ready to get started? Check out the installation instructions here and the quick reference guide for the Icom Radio here.

So, if you’re ready to enhance your communication game and enjoy your music without missing a beat, this system is where it’s at. Grab yours and hit the trails!

What is PCI Race Radios?

PCI Race Radios has been the leader in off-road and racing communications since 1972. The company takes pride in its extensive field testing, competitive prices, unparalleled customer service, and simplified packages that make communications easy with unmatched support even after the sale. With more than 45 years of experience in the off-road racing industry, PCI Race Radios develops and tests all of its own products. The brand has a full-service technical repair shop at its headquarters in Long Beach, California, and provides trackside, mobile services to its desert enthusiasts at off-road races. PCI Race Radios supports the ASA, CORVA, ORBA, and the San Diego Off-Road Coalition. It also sponsors District 37, SCORE, SNORE, MDR, MORE, CORR, BITD, and provides desert racers with the Weatherman Relay Service.

PCI Race Radios is a family-owned company that is dedicated to taking the time to both “race and play.” The company tests its products on dirt bikes, motorcycles, quads, rock crawlers, race cars, Raptors, RZRs, Mavericks, and boats. It can, therefore, thoroughly understand consumers’ needs and offer hands-on recommendations from experience.

Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?

PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.

Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
