If you're looking to amp up your off-road experience, you might want to check out PCI's RaceAir Boost. This isn't just another air system; it's designed for those who know what they need when the trail gets tough. With a sleek design and an easy installation process, it's a game changer for your RZR or X3.

One of the standout features is the built-in variable speed controller. This lets you dial in just the right amount of forced air depending on how intense your excursion is. Whether you're cruising at a chill pace or tackling some serious terrain, you can adjust the airflow to keep you comfortable.

  • For stock RZR roll bars, you’re looking at a 1.75” diameter, while some aftermarket seat bars come in at 1.5”.
  • Yamaha roll bars also stick to the 1.75” standard.
  • If you’re rocking an X3, the roll bar behind the seat is 2.5” on the two-seater, but the four-seater has a mix—1.85” behind the driver and 2.5” behind the rear seats.

Now, let’s get into some specs. The RaceAir Boost pulls between 2.8 to 4 amps at 12 volts, which is pretty efficient for what it delivers. Weighing in at just 2.1 lbs with the bracket and controller, it’s lightweight but built tough with a durable billet housing. Plus, it runs on a brushless DC motor, so you know it’s going to last.

When it comes to mounting options, you’re covered. The kit includes a panel mount plate and roll bar mounts compatible with 1.5”, 1.75”, 1.85”, and 2.5” bars. You can even rotate the bracket 90 degrees to switch between sizes. There’s also a Speed UTV mount option for 1.8” roll bars, complete with an SAE power connection.

Versatility is key here—this unit can be mounted in any direction, whether that's sideways or even upside down. It comes with a prefilter and filter included, but you’ll need to pick up hoses separately. If you’re mounting it in the middle of your vehicle, I’d recommend going with a mix of 4ft, 5ft, and two 8ft hoses. For rear mounts, snag a 4ft, 5ft, and two 10ft hoses to get the best fit.

And just to give you peace of mind, there’s a 2-year warranty against manufacturer defects. Do keep in mind that the wiring harness and rocker switches are sold separately, so plan accordingly when you're gearing up for your next adventure.

In short, the PCI RaceAir Boost is a solid investment for anyone serious about their off-road setup. It’s all about keeping you cool and comfortable, no matter where the trail takes you.

It also sponsors District 37, SCORE, SNORE, MDR, MORE, CORR, BITD, and provides desert racers with the Weatherman Relay Service.

PCI Race Radios is a family-owned company that is dedicated to taking the time to both “race and play.” The company tests its products on dirt bikes, motorcycles, quads, rock crawlers, race cars, Raptors, RZRs, Mavericks, and boats. It can, therefore, thoroughly understand consumers’ needs and offer hands-on recommendations from experience.

Who is Behind PCI Race Radios?

PCI Race Radios was started in 1972 when Bob Steinberger put communications in the vehicles of Bill Stroppe, Joe MacPherson and Walker Evans. At the 1974 Mint 400, Steinberger sent up three weather balloons with 500 feet of coax attached to them. It was that day when the first successful radio relay from a pit was made. Since then, Bob’s iconic status has spanned through nearly half a century of work with his communications brand, PCI Race Radios.

Bob Steinberger passed away in 2017, handing over the company to his son Scott, who has been racing since 1983. Scott Steinberger understands what goes into racing and the importance of quality (communication) products that help get you to the finish line.
