Permatex Medium Strength Threadlocker Blue Gel, 10 G - 24010
Permatex?s Medium-Strength Threadlocker Blue is ideal for all nut and bolt applications 1/4? to 3/4? (6mm to 20mm). Threadlocker Blue eliminates need for stocking expensive lock nuts and lock washers and locks and seals while preventing parts loosening due to vibration. Protects threads from corrosion. Threadlocker BLUE is easily removable with hand tools for easy disassembly. The Gel formula provides ?liquid-reliability? without drips, globs, mess or waste and is available in convenient dispensing systems: choose GEL TWIST pin-point applicator or the GEL SQUEEZE applicator. (Mil-S-46163A, Type II, Grade N).

Valve cover bolts, water pump bolts, oil pan bolts, drive shaft bolts, rocker arm adjustment nuts, carburetor studs; also ideal for vertical applications.

Directions for Use: Parts should be clean and oil free.
  • Remove protective cap.
  • Turn dial to expose 1/8? to 1/4? of material beyond tip.
  • Apply threadlocker to leading edge of male fitting, covering 5 to 6 threads. Avoid direct contact of tip to metal surface*.
  • Assemble parts and tighten to recommended torque.
  • Replace protective cap. *If contact occurs, expose 1/16? of material and wipe off with a clean towel. Temperature range: -65 DegreeF to 300 DegreeF (-54 DegreeC to 150 DegreeC). Refer to Technical Data Sheet for complete information.
