The PLM-DP-G80-CAT-200 downpipes are engineered for the BMW G80 M3, G82 M4, and G87 M2 models (2020-2024). Designed in-house at Private Label Manufacturing, these downpipes utilize advanced Faro CMM 3D scanning technology and cutting-edge CAD/CAE software to ensure precision and performance.

Construction and Materials

Constructed from full titanium, the PLM downpipes offer significant weight savings and durability. The 3-inch titanium tubing is complemented by 4-inch quad exhaust tips, enhancing both aesthetics and exhaust flow. Each unit features:

  • Precision TIG welds for structural integrity
  • CNC machined flanges for a perfect fit
  • Direct bolt-on installation with included hardware
  • Retention of factory valve functions for seamless integration

Performance Features

These downpipes are equipped with high-flow metallic core cats featuring 200 cells, designed for enthusiasts seeking enhanced sound and performance. For those prioritizing emissions compliance, an EPA-compliant variant with 400 cell cats is available, minimizing the risk of check engine lights while maintaining a quieter operation.

  • EPA compliant means it is for OBD2 use, for vehicles 1996 and newer, except in California where there has CARB standards.
  • Federal law prohibits the tampering of an emissions control device. Mobile Source Enforcement Memorandum 1A, allows for aftermarket parts to be used in the repair or replacement of emissions control systems, provided the emissions aren't adversely affected. There is no mention or reference to cell density or converter volume dimension. The EPA compliant catalytic converters we offer will produce emissions that will meet or exceed the standards set by the EPA, not CARB. Please check with your current local city & state for current emissions standards.
