Owner Bryan Thompson is a self-taught car enthusiast from Utah. He got his start working on cars as a mechanic in Salt Lake City, later moving down to the Dallas Fort-Worth area to work on Toyota Supras. He previously worked with Ross Baird at Dinosaur Performance on the ground-up restoration of cars as well as general performance. His desire to start parts manufacturing and product development led Dinosaur Performance to become one of the earliest entries into the Supra market for developing products.
Thompson stepped in to run Powerhouse Racing in 2012 and worked with established dealers and the Powerhouse brand to design new products and grow the company. He expanded Powerhouse to its current location and has worked to increase the value of their products.
Powerhouse boasts an in-house CNC machine as well as in-shop testing with their Supra, Nissan and Lexus vehicles.
