How It Works

When your engine is idling or cruising, the PCV "check" valve closes, preventing flow through the hose. However, during high-load runs, this system effectively manages unwanted crankcase vapors, unspent fuel, and oil sludge, keeping your intake manifold clean.

CCV Catch Can Details

The CCV catch can mounts conveniently to the windshield wiper motor on the left side of the firewall. It maintains factory functionality by running inline between the crankcase vents and the turbo inlet pipe. Like the PCV catch can, it uses large 5/8" hoses and 10AN fittings for a snug fit.

At low loads, the CCV catch can experiences atmospheric pressure, but under high load conditions, it captures excess crankcase flow, preventing oil and sludge from accumulating in your air filter and intercooler'helping maintain thermal efficiency and performance.
