Schroth SR 66550Y-R LatchLink II 5-Point Harness

The Schroth SR 66550Y-R LatchLink II is engineered for serious motorsport applications, featuring a robust 2" lap belt design that prioritizes both safety and comfort. This 5-point harness is SFI 16.1 certified, ensuring compliance with rigorous racing standards.

Design and Configuration

The LatchLink II offers versatile lap belt adjuster styles, allowing for optimal fitment based on driver preference. The 2" lap belt conforms more effectively to the pelvis, providing a snug and secure fit compared to traditional 3" belts. The system is available in both left-side pull-down and right-side pull-up configurations, enabling racers to customize their setup for maximum efficiency.

Compatibility with Shoulder Belts

This harness can be paired with various shoulder belt options, including:

  • 2" shoulder belts, ideal for use with a HANS or similar forward head restraint.
  • 3" shoulder belts, suitable for use with or without head restraint devices.
  • Over/Under double shoulder belts, combining a 3" lower belt for body retention and a 2" upper belt for HANS compatibility.

Sub-Strap Options

The SR 66550Y-R offers three sub-strap configurations to accommodate different racing styles:

  • 6-point V style for comprehensive support.
  • Non-adjustable single sub-strap for simplicity.
  • In-line adjustable single sub-strap for personalized fit.

All configurations come with wrap-in hardware, while bolt-in or snap-in options must be purchased separately but are compatible with any attachment point on the harness.
