Design and Configuration
The 2" lap belt is designed to fit snugly across the pelvis, providing a more comfortable and secure fit during high-performance driving. The SR 61560Y allows for various configurations, including pull-up and non-adjustable options, making it adaptable to individual driver preferences. This versatility ensures that the lap belts can be optimized for specific racing applications.
Compatibility and Installation
This harness can be paired with 2" shoulder belts, 3" shoulder belts, or the Over/Under double shoulder belt setup. The 2" shoulder belts are particularly recommended for use with HANS devices or similar forward head restraints, while the 3" belts can be utilized with or without these devices. The Over/Under configuration combines a 3" belt for body retention with a 2" upper belt to secure the HANS device, maximizing safety in the event of an accident.
The SR 61560Y features three sub-strap configurations: a 6-point V style, a non-adjustable single sub-strap, and an in-line adjustable single sub-strap. All configurations come equipped with wrap-in hardware. Note that bolt-in or snap-in hardware must be purchased separately, allowing for flexible installation options.
