Safety and Design
The SR 16129-0 is engineered to anchor to factory points that are load tested to withstand forces of up to 3,000 pounds for 6 seconds, ensuring that the harness remains securely in place during aggressive maneuvers. The unique ASM (Anti-Submarining) technology keeps the lap belt low across your hips, preventing it from riding up and causing discomfort or injury.
In the event of an accident, the harness takes advantage of the factory seat belt pre-tensioner, which tightens the belt by 1-2 inches, ensuring that the airbags deploy as intended for an occupant properly secured with the harness.
Installation and Compatibility
The Quick Fit Harness is designed for easy removal, allowing you to retain the functionality of your vehicle for everyday use, whether it’s transporting passengers or cargo. This harness is specifically compatible with the Ford Fiesta G7 models from 2003 to 2021.
Important Notes
- This harness is intended for use with stock seats that have passed a seat back strength test.
- It is not approved for use with fixed back or aftermarket seats, except for the Cobra Nogaro and Recaro Pole Position ABE models in already approved vehicles.
- The SR 16129-0 is not compatible with HANS or other head and neck restraint devices. For HANS compatibility, consider the Quick Fit Pro version.
