Technical Design
The Quick Fit Pro's innovative design features an integrated geometry that optimizes the effectiveness of the HANS device. Unlike conventional 4-point harnesses, which often have shoulder belts sewn to the lap belts and positioned 6-8 inches apart, the Quick Fit Pro’s shoulder belts angle inward toward the central Cam Lock. This design allows for a more effective and secure fit when utilizing a HANS device.
Integration with Factory Safety Systems
This harness connects to the vehicle's existing safety infrastructure, alerting the airbag control unit that the driver is properly restrained. It also utilizes the factory seat belt pre-tensioner system, which activates in the event of a collision, tightening the lap belt for added security. Installation Notes
The Quick Fit Pro is designed for use in stock seats that have passed a seat back strength test. It is not approved for use with fixed back or aftermarket seats, with exceptions for the Cobra Nogaro and Recaro Pole Position ABE, provided the vehicles are already approved for use with Quick Fit harnesses.
