The Supertech P4-MA84-P10 pistons are engineered for high-performance applications, specifically designed for the Mazda Miata 1.8L models from 1994 to 2005. These pistons utilize a high silicone, enhanced 4032 alloy, which incorporates copper (Cu), nickel (Ni), and magnesium (Mg) for improved thermal properties. This alloy offers low thermal expansion, excellent wear resistance, and superior thermal conductivity, making it suitable for applications that demand reliability under boost conditions of up to 42 psi with alcohol fuels.

Manufacturing Process

These pistons undergo a meticulous two or three-step forging process that creates a fine structural grain. This is followed by several machining steps on advanced CNC machines, ensuring precision and consistency in every unit. The pistons are subjected to multiple heat treatments, which enhance their tensile strength and provide evenly distributed hardness across the component.
