Swift Springs Z60-152-160: Precision Engineering for Your Ride

If you’re looking to enhance your vehicle’s performance, the Swift Springs Z60-152-160 is a must-have upgrade. With over 90 years of expertise in industrial spring manufacturing, Swift has crafted a spring that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of automotive enthusiasts. These springs are engineered for weight reduction, durability, and compliance, all while maintaining linear spring rates that deliver tangible benefits on the road or track.

Performance Benefits

Many car owners swap springs without noticing much difference beyond ride stiffness. However, the Z60-152-160 goes beyond the ordinary. Imagine increased traction, smoother weight transfer, improved ride quality, lower tire temperatures, and a more predictable driving experience. Swift's engineers have turned this vision into reality, ensuring that these springs can handle the demands of both spirited driving and everyday use.

Superior Materials

Constructed from H5S.TW. steel, which surpasses traditional silicone chrome steel, these springs feature fewer coils. This design reduces unsprung weight and increases stroke, allowing for better handling and responsiveness. This means you can tackle corners with confidence while enjoying a comfortable ride.

Fitment and Specifications

The Z60-152-160 is designed to be a universal fit, making it a versatile choice for various vehicles. However, ensure compatibility with your specific model for optimal performance. Here are the key specifications:

  • Spring Rate: 894 lbs/inch
  • Usable Stroke: 2.7 inches
  • Max Stroke: 3.4 inches
  • Max Load: 3019 lbs

Whether you're looking to improve your daily driver or prepare your race car for the track, the Z60-152-160 springs offer the right balance of performance and comfort.

Customer Feedback

Owners of various models have shared their experiences with the Z60-152-160. For instance, a 2022 Honda Civic owner noted, “After installing these springs, the car feels planted during aggressive cornering, and the ride quality is surprisingly smooth.” Another 2019 Subaru WRX owner mentioned, “These springs made a huge difference in handling and comfort, especially on longer drives.”

Installation Notes

Keep in mind that depending on your vehicle, you may need more than one set of springs for a complete upgrade. Always consult with a professional or refer to your vehicle's specifications before installation.

Upgrade your suspension with the Swift Springs Z60-152-160 and experience the difference in handling and ride quality. Your car deserves it!

Why was Swift Springs Formed?

Swift Springs was founded in 1997 in Tokyo, Japan as a motorsports division of Tokyo Hatsujo Manufacturing Co, Ltd., which has been leading the spring industry since 1924. Swift Springs was established to demonstrate their superior engineering by developing the next generation of sport suspension coilover springs. The scope of the project was to surpass the best of any other brand or design in the market by making the springs ultra-durable and lightweight, while still being affordable.

World-Class Racing Experience

Since its inception, Swift Springs has been led by former racer and suspension expert Kei Yokota and the chief engineer Yasu Saito. Their first-hand experience and involvement within the race industry have propelled Swift Springs through the ranks of the world’s most prestigious races. Swift quickly became the most recognized and respected name in performance coil springs in motorsports all around the globe.

The brand’s impressive motor racing history started in 1998 with a Nissan Skyline GT-R in the Super Taikyu Endurance championship series in Japan. Swift Springs moved on to support championship teams in the 24 Hours Nurburgring, 24 Hours of Le Mans, D-1 World Grand Prix, F3, Formula Toyota, the Super Taikyu series, and many other world-class races. In 2004, Team Goh’s Audi R8 won first place with Swift Springs at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race.

All Springs are not Created Equal

All coilover spring manufacturers claim to have four factors: lightest in weight, largest amount of stroke, most consistent spring rate, and highest durability against loss of spring height. Only the innovative and revolutionary Swift Springs achieve the fifth factor which is having the fastest reaction speed possible to gain compliance on road surface conditions. While diameters and spring rates may be similar across several brands, the spring manufacturing process is what determines exactly how well they will perform. To achieve all five factors, Swift Springs developed a proprietary steel alloy "HS5.TW", as well as a patented winding method that no other coilover manufacturer can duplicate.

Swift Springs provide drivers with a difference that they can feel and several racing benefits. Swift Springs use a very strong alloy, which means they can use a thinner diameter of wire. In turn, the thinner wire is much lighter and extremely vital given it is unsprung weight. Thinner wire also means that there is more gap between the coils with more “stroke” for the spring. This gives the spring more travel and does not “bottom” as early as thicker wire springs. Lastly, Swift Springs prove to be incredibly consistent and reliable. At the end of one year of racing, Swift Springs are typically within .5-1.0 percent of the rate they were when they just came out of the box.
