If you’re in the market for a serious upgrade to your ride, the Texas Speed & Performance 376 C.I.D. short-block is worth a look. This isn’t just any engine; it’s built around a brand new GM L92/LS3 aluminum block, which means you’re starting with a solid foundation. The standard package comes fully assembled with a factory GM 3.622" stroke crankshaft, and you can choose between a 24X or 58X reluctor wheel, depending on what fits your setup best.

What’s cool is that you can pick your pistons too. You’ve got options like Wiseco, CP, or Diamond Racing pistons that are designed to work with LS1, LS2, LS6, L92, and LS3 heads. So, whether you’re going for a street beast or a track monster, you can tailor this engine to your needs. Just a heads-up: the TSP 376 uses a 4.070" bore piston set as standard, but if you’ve got something special in mind, custom builds are an option.

Now, if you’re planning to push the limits with nitrous or boost, consider the optional 1/2" head stud upgrade. This upgrade includes ARP hardware and the necessary machining, but you’ll need to go with PRC aftermarket casting heads since they have the larger bolt holes. The GM castings won’t cut it without additional work, so keep that in mind when you’re selecting your parts.

For those who want a complete package, we offer turn-key long-blocks. You can choose everything from the oil pan to the intake manifold and throttle body. Plus, we’ve got plenty of upgrades available, like ARP bolts and Cometic head gaskets, to really make this engine your own. And let’s not forget about break-in. Every TSP engine comes with 12 quarts of break-in oil at no extra cost. Most off-the-shelf oils lack the ZDDP additives necessary for a proper break-in, but we’ve got you covered. After the break-in, we recommend using Driven Racing oil, specifically the HR2 conventional non-synthetic, to keep your engine happy.
