If you're serious about off-road racing, you know that the heart of your machine is everything. Texas Speed & Performance has something special for you: the 427 CID "Eliminator" LS7 Off-Road Engine Package. This isn’t just another engine; it’s a beast that’s been crafted with precision and care. Every single engine is hand-assembled by folks who breathe LSx and Gen 5 LT engines. We're talking about serious expertise here, not just assembly line work.

What makes this engine stand out? For starters, it’s built from the ground up using brand new parts—no remanufactured junk here. Each engine block is digitally blueprinted on a CNC machine to meet factory GM specs, ensuring that everything fits just right. When you drop this engine in, you can expect a true drop-in fit, ready to roar. And trust me, it’s got the guts to handle whatever you throw at it in those rough terrains.

This package is not just about power; it’s about durability too. The "Eliminator" comes with a lopey idle that’ll turn heads, but you’ll need a torque converter with a minimum stall speed of 3,200 RPM to really make it sing. Plus, we build every engine with a 24x reluctor wheel and a cable-driven throttle body, though we can switch it to an electronic throttle body if that’s more your style. Just keep in mind, the standard package doesn’t include an engine wiring harness or ECM, but we can hook you up with those for an extra cost. And if you go that route, we’ll throw in a base tune to get you started, but you’ll want to get it properly dyno-tuned once it’s in your ride.

Now, break-in is crucial, and we don’t skimp on that. You’ll get 12 quarts of break-in oil at no extra charge, because getting those rings seated properly is key. Most off-the-shelf oils just don’t cut it for break-in, but we’ve got you covered with the right stuff. Once you’re done breaking it in, we recommend switching to Driven Racing oil—HR2 conventional non-synthetic is a solid choice.
