If you’re looking to beef up your engine's internals, the Texas Speed H-Beam Rods are a solid choice. Crafted from heat-treated 4340 steel, these rods are built to take a beating. They go through a meticulous machining process that really focuses on strength and reliability, so you know you’re getting something that’s going to hold up under pressure.

Here’s the deal: each rod is torqued and then re-torqued during manufacturing. It starts off with a rough honing, then the bolts come out, and the rod gets separated from the cap to release any residual stress. After that, they’re put back together and honed again. This means you can drop these rods into your engine without worrying about them being out of round—pretty crucial for a solid build.

These Super H-Beam rods can handle up to 900 flywheel horsepower, so if you’re planning on pushing your setup, you’re in good hands. Plus, they come with ARP L19 rod bolts for maximum clamping force, which is a nice touch for those of us who like to push the limits.

One thing to keep in mind: if you’re using blocks with piston oil squirters, you might need to do a little clearancing. But if you’re pairing these with JE pistons, you’re in luck. They’re a direct drop-in for the LS3 and don’t require any balancing when used with our TSP H-Beam rods and a stock GM LS3 crank. That’s a win for anyone looking to simplify their build.
