Just be prepared for that aggressive, choppy idle—it’s part of the package. For those with 5.7 or 6.0 engines, this cam delivers a solid midrange punch along with upper RPM gains, making it a versatile option for various builds.

Now, if you're running an automatic transmission, I'd highly recommend pairing this cam with a stall converter rated at 3600 RPM or higher. It makes a significant difference in how your car performs, especially when you're launching off the line. And don't forget about the rear gear; you’ll want something in the 3.73 range or higher to really take advantage of the power this cam provides.
