A cold air intake kit for the Scion FR-S, Toyota GT-86, Subaru BRZ is one of the easiest and best upgrades you should do to your car. The improved intake design giving you an overall better driving experience. The VR Performance cold air intake kit gives your FRS | BRZ | GT86 much better throttle response making the revs come in quicker. In addition, an increase in torque along with horsepower is seen throughout the entire RPM range.
The cold air intake is made from cutting edge roto-molded plastic that requires precision machine molds to provide a true OEM fit and finish of a product. With this design, an integrated air scoop helps direct air directly to the air filter from the front of the bumper like the factory. The MAF sensor is positioned directly into the intake tube with proper tolerances to not affect reads that would require tuning. The intake tube does feature a blocked off sound tube connector. For those that wish to reuse the factory symposer, they can modify the end to connect the factory unit. This does not change performance but only affects interior cabin noise. The intake box is sealed with durable weather stripping and secured with matching black hardware. The intake features a VR Peformance name plate on the front.
Each kit utilizes a high flow cone air filter to not only breathe better than factory but is reusable for the life of the vehicle. This high flow cylindrical air filter features a much-improved flow rate over stock and designed to catch more particles compared to a paper mesh design. The filter features a vented end cap for ultimate air suction in the new air box. This is a dry filter that does not require any oiling which could potentially harm a MAF sensor. The Vivid Racing cold air intake kit for the FA20 engine is a perfect upgrade to work along with other performance parts.

Vivid Racing offers a 1 year limited warranty on (non titanium) products and a 90 day warranty on titanium products under the VR Performance brand which covers manufacturing defects that prevent the item from being used for its intended purpose and application. Damages or issues found that are not directly caused by a manufacturing defect are not covered under any warranty offered by Vivid Racing.
Vivid Racing reserves the right to refuse warranty coverage for the following reasons.

Please note: In order for any claim to be submitted, proof of professional installation or its attempt must be provided. All Warranty claims must be submitted for review. If approved, an RMA number will be provided which MUST be included in the packaging. If not included your returned product will be refused. All return shipping costs to and from Vivid Racing are the responsibility of the customer or distributor initiating the warranty claim. If the product is determined to be covered under warranty Vivid Racing will repair the product within original spec, offer a replacement, or refund if needed to the original purchaser. Our warranty does not cover any labor, services, or related products to our product.
