The best way to solve this weak point is with the VR Performance upgraded turbo inlet pipe kit for BMW B48 engine. Due to the factory pipe being made of plastic, it is prone to cracking and popping off the flange when under high boost pressure. By replacing the pipe you are effectively improving the efficiency and reliability of your engine. The smooth aluminum construction improves the air flow as well.
Charge air is the compressed air that travels from the turbocharger through the intercooler to the engine. Smoothly delivering charge air is essential to the performance of your engine. Vivid Racing offers a 1 year limited warranty on (non titanium) products and a 90 day warranty on titanium products under the VR Performance brand which covers manufacturing defects that prevent the item from being used for its intended purpose and application. Damages or issues found that are not directly caused by a manufacturing defect are not covered under any warranty offered by Vivid Racing.
Vivid Racing reserves the right to refuse warranty coverage for the following reasons.
Please note: In order for any claim to be submitted, proof of professional installation or its attempt must be provided. All Warranty claims must be submitted for review. If approved, an RMA number will be provided which MUST be included in the packaging. If not included your returned product will be refused. All return shipping costs to and from Vivid Racing are the responsibility of the customer or distributor initiating the warranty claim. If the product is determined to be covered under warranty Vivid Racing will repair the product within original spec, offer a replacement, or refund if needed to the original purchaser. Our warranty does not cover any labor, services, or related products to our product.
