The universal replacement shaft connects the main pivot to the toe piece of the pedal and is replaceable by simply removing the bolts on the shaft (does not require footpeg removal). These shafts are made of 6061 T6 Aluminum and are not only much stronger than OEM pedals but they can also much less likely to break if bent and then straightened.
