Well Nuts are easy to use - drill a hole where fastener is needed the same diameter as the well-nut, insert well nut and fasten whatever it is you need there.

These ZSPEC rubber-composite Well Nuts are M8-1.25 thread pitch (works with typical metric fasteners) and the hole-diameter required for use is ~17.5mm.
