The Active Autowerke 11-045C Signature Exhaust System is engineered for the BMW F80 M3 and M4 models from 2014 to 2018. This exhaust system is the culmination of extensive research and development, aimed at enhancing both performance and sound quality.
Construction and Design
Crafted from 100% 304 stainless steel, the 11-045C features a mandrel-bent design that ensures optimal exhaust flow. The TIG welding process used in its construction eliminates the weaknesses often found in MIG welded systems, providing durability and longevity under high-performance conditions.
Performance Enhancements
The 11-045C exhaust system replaces the stock dual pipe setup with a single 3.5" pipe configuration right after the downpipes. This design promotes better exhaust scavenging and increases exhaust velocity, resulting in quicker turbo spool times and improved power delivery. The system is capable of handling significantly higher power levels than the stock exhaust, making it suitable for both stock and heavily modified S55 engines.
