The ADVAN Racing RS, the flagship model of the brand, was launched in 2001. That RS model became the RSII in 2009 after some refinements to the original design. WTCC competition showcased the RSII's design and performance, putting ADVAN Racing in the global spotlight. Then, in 2019, the third generation of RS wheels arrived, and I can’t stress enough how impressive these wheels are.
The new RSIII maintains the iconic 10-spoke design, but it brings a fresh look that truly sets it apart. Based on the latest analytical data on strength, the RSIII features the tallest vertical cross-section of the three RS models. When you look at it from the front, the spokes appear narrower than those of the RSII, giving the wheels a sharper, more aggressive look. This is exactly what we want as enthusiasts’something that not only performs but also turns heads.
Despite the narrower cross-section, the RSIII's spokes are side-cut machined, showcasing Yokohama's advanced forged wheel technology. This "advanced side cut processing" is visible even on the slimmest parts of the spokes. It’s a significant upgrade from the RSII, which lacked these features. Plus, RSII wheels offered two concave spoke face designs: STANDARD-Design and GTR-Design. The RSIII steps it up with three designs, including the new Super GTR-Design, giving you more options to choose from.
