The result? A 370x24mm version of EBC's beloved two-piece floating rotor that bolts directly onto the rear axle of all G8X-series M3 and M4 models (excluding those equipped with optional carbon ceramic brakes). This upgrade promises impressive braking performance and longevity, especially when you???re pushing the limits on both road and track. It's the perfect match for the existing 380x36mm front discs.

- Unlike the OE rotors, EBC's SG2F fully floating rotor allows the outer cast-iron friction ring to expand freely with temperature, completely eliminating rotor warping.
- Our rotors are grooved, unlike the originals, allowing the pads to vent without the holes becoming weak points for cracking.
- We use race-derived G3500-grade high-carbon cast iron for the friction rings, providing superior crack resistance and enhanced heat dissipation.
- The aluminium bells are machined from aerospace-grade aluminium and hard anodised for durability, while stock brake rotors use uncoated cast aluminium bells.
- Our cast iron friction rings feature 48 curved vanes and are handed for each side of the vehicle, significantly improving heat dissipation, increasing brake system endurance, and delaying brake fade.
- Bobbins are machined from stainless steel, ensuring they won???t rust and that the rotor continues to float freely throughout its lifespan, even on road cars.
- Spring clips guarantee silent operation and eliminate any annoying off-brake rotor rattle.

It is commonly known in the brake rotor business that accurate mounting and checking of runout on brake rotors is paramount at installation and in spite of necessary warnings many mechanics still see fit to ignore this warning and make no effort whatsoever to check rotor runout. This leads to brake vibration in the 3-5,000 miles lifetime period and is not a warrantable condition. The solution for vibration at this stage is to have the rotors turned or replaced and to thoroughly clean the mounting flange on the vehicle and carefully check for runout before returning the vehicle to service use.

To enable your vehicle to be used whilst your warranty claim is considered, should you need to purchase replacement parts this must be done by purchasing the parts from EBC themselves. In the event of a successful compensation award, we will refund the credit card that you used to buy the replacement parts in full or part depending on the nature of the claim. EBC Brakes reserves the right to make full or partial compensation at its sole discretion depending upon the condition and mileage used of the returned suspect parts. For example, if you have used the product for several thousand miles and the defect is noticed, only a partial compensation may be offered.
