Technology and Performance

The Ventus V12 Evo2 utilizes a high-grip silica tread compound, enhanced with functionalized styrene polymer. This combination not only minimizes rolling resistance for better fuel efficiency but also ensures exceptional grip in varying conditions.

Tread Design

Featuring a directional tread pattern, the tire incorporates notched shoulders and 3D intermediate ribs, paired with a continuous center rib for optimal dry handling. The design includes circumferential and aqua jet lateral grooves that effectively channel water away from the contact patch, enhancing wet traction and reducing the risk of hydroplaning. Additionally, stealth technology in the intermediate block grooves minimizes road noise for a more comfortable ride.

Construction and Stability

The Ventus V12 Evo2 is built with two wide steel belts and two plies of spirally wrapped jointless nylon for added durability. High stiffness bead fillers, which consist of hard rubber sandwiched between polyester cord casing plies, ensure improved handling response and resist distortion during aggressive driving maneuvers.

This limited warranty applies to the original purchaser of any new tire manufactured by HANKOOK Tire Co., Ltd bearing Department of Transportation prescribed tire identification numbers. Eligible tires shall be used on the vehicle on which they were originally installed according to the vehicle manufacturer's or Hankook's recommendation.

This warranty applies if all following qualification requirements are met:

  • The tire was purchased after January 1, 2018.
  • The tire is a size, load rating and speed rating equal to or greater than that recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
  • The tire has not become unserviceable due to a condition listed under WHAT IS NOT COVERED.
  • Tire is 6 years from the date of manufacture or 6 years from the date of purchase, whichever benefits the customer.
