The P Zero Winter is Pirelli's Performance Winter / Snow tire developed for drivers of premium sports cars, coupes, sedans and high-performance crossovers and SUVs. The P Zero Winter brings the same "P Zero" performance-driven design philosophies found in its summer and all-season counterparts to the winter climate by providing a high-level driving experience in snow, slush and wet conditions, as well as on cold, clear pavement.
P Zero Winter tires feature a performance-tuned winter tread compound molded into an asymmetric pattern engineered to stay flexible and maintain traction in cold temperatures. Deep transversal and shallow-angle channels work in conjunction with wide circumferential grooves to evacuate water and slush from the contact patch, while increasing snow traction and braking. Inboard tread elements utilize high-density lateral siping for increased traction in slippery conditions, along with longitudinal sipes for increased lateral stability. The inboard and intermediate ribs feature zig-zag elements engineered to retain snow in the grooves, which increases snow-to-snow traction. Further outboard, tread elements feature brickwork pattern siping, which increases both longitudinal and lateral stability by creating more biting edges while maintaining the shape of the contact patch for clear road handling.
P Zero Winter Performance Winter / Snow tires meet the industry's severe snow service requirements and are branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

Pirelli is a tire manufacturing company that was founded in Milan back in 1872 by Giovanni Battista Pirelli. The company first started by specializing in rubber and derivative processes and made scuba diving rebreathers. Soon after, they focused on manufacturing tires. Today, Pirelli has become a world-renowned brand and is being used by multiple enthusiasts and automotive manufacturers.
Back in 1974, Pirelli invented the “radial tire” for the Lancia rally racing team. They needed a strong tire that will be able to withstand the power of their newly developed vehicles. During those times, tires are either made with a cross-ply technique which provides better grip due to its wide tires with low sidewall height, or radial tires which are stronger but narrower and have a lower grip. Pirelli provided a solution wherein they combined the properties of both, which in turn provided a tire with the performance of a slick tire but with the structural integrity of a radial tire.
The company offers tires for different vehicle platforms may it be for Sedans, SUVs, Offroad Vehicles, Motorcycles, and even bicycles. They offer tires designed to perform in different types of weather and tires that can perform in different road conditions either for the street or for track use.
Pirelli has always been synonymous with high performance as they supply tires for some of the top racing teams in different racing disciplines worldwide. They provide tires for rally cars and some of the most prestigious racing events such as the Le Mans 24 hours Race and Formula 1. Using their experience on the track, they are able to gain access to critical data that allows them to produce tires that could perform better compared to their competitors.
If you are in search of a quality tire that would provide you a better handling vehicle, then Pirelli is the brand for you.
