Construction:
  • The closure system includes polymer buckles plus an aluminum frame with self-aligning, quick release closures for a customized secure fitment.
  • The buckle receiver is engineered to be self-aligning, guaranteeing a secure fit while preventing strap rotation.
  • The soft microfiber gaiter features a dedicated design especially for the back of the boot that effectively seals out excessive water and dirt entry.
  • The extended medial panel is constructed from TPU and its new design incorporates an enlarged rubber insert for maximum grip contact with the bike and improved heat and abrasion resistance.
  • The pull flap is engineered to offer increased prehensility.
  • Updated and compact TPU shin plate construction for greater range of fitment, equipped with a reinforced hook and loop closure for a comfortable, highly customized fit.
Protection:
  • The upper features extensive TPU protection on the toes, foot, heel, ankle, calf, and shin with extra hard compounds on the toe-box and heel for additional impact and abrasion resistance.
  • Upper suede leather with a lightweight microfiber construction for superior impact and abrasion resistance.
  • Additional TPU rear bridge for protecting the Achilles tendons.
  • Equipped with a poly-fabric lining with 3D open cell foam and anti-sliding suede reinforcement on the heel area for enhanced abrasion resistance.
  • The one-piece sole is constructed from a highly durable, dual compound vulcanized rubber for durability and protection. Sole is replaceable.
  • The Tech 7 Boots are CE certified to EN 13634:2017.


Features:
  • The TPU lower shell features an innovative design on the shifter area for reduced front roll and easy shift lever control, with a dedicated design for the left and right foot. This area is further strengthened with a metal shank and is reinforced on the toe zone for impact and abrasion resistance.
  • Equipped with a medial and lateral double pivot system for improved levels of flexibility and precision control.
  • Dedicated design on the medial side wall for improving the feel, support, and grip on the bike, while increasing the protection and durability of the boot.
  • New contoured TPU calf protector plate offers effective impact resistance.
  • The main flexion of the boot is supported around the medial and lateral ankle by a low profile pivot system for superior freedom of movement and rider comfort.
  • The front flexion zone features new innovative shock absorbing inserts in the front bellow zone for progressive support.
  • Shock absorbing padding is also strategically positioned on the ankles and shin plate for increased impact absorption.
  • New strap holder design offers maximum rotation and functionality, while reducing excessive rotation.
  • The sole is made with an innovative wear limit indicator embedded in the foot peg area. This layer displays a red layer alerting the rider when the sole is worn out and needs replacing.
  • The boot structure beneath the wear limit indicator is surrounded by a Kevlar layer that maintains the structure and integrity of the boot while also protecting the boot.

The company started in 1963 when leather craftsman Sante Mazzarolo produced the first product bearing the Alpinestar name. At that time, motocross racing was just an up and coming motorsport event.
